He continued to do freelance photography for newspapers and television stations throughout southwest Kansas in the 1960s and 1970s. From 1954 until 1961, he and his wife owned and operated Baker’s Photography Studio in Hugoton, KS. He later served with a video production squadron at the US Air Force facility at Lockheed Air Terminal in Burbank, CA, and later at Orlando Air Force Base in Orlando, FL for the APCS (Air Photographic and Charting Service). She preceded him in death on January 25, 2009.īob served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954, training in photography armament at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, CO. A 1949 graduate of Sublette High School, he later attended Garden City Community College. Bob was born Jin Sublette, KS to Cecil C. Baker, age 88, of Kansas City, KS formerly of Garden City, died Maat The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS following a short illness.
